Moanin' Frogs

This self-titled debut album by The Moanin’ Frogs presents the past and present of this exciting chamber ensemble. The group of six conservatory-trained saxophonists, known for their classical technique and chamber music aesthetic, started in 2011 by reviving old vaudeville tunes from the early 20th Century and soon expanded to include the gamut of pop, jazz, and light classical works. Highlights from this album include Jacques Press’ "Wedding Dance,” Lopez and Lopez’s “Let It Go” from Disney’s hit movie, Frozen, Freddie Mercury's (aka Queen’s) "Bohemian Rhapsody," and Boots Randolph’s “Yakety Sax”.
